Audi produces 100,000th car in Győr

Production volume at German carmaker Audi's new plant at its base in Győr has passed the 100,000 mark, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today, citing Audi Hungária Motors.

Production at the new plant was launched a year ago in June. Audi added a third shift at the plant in the summer.

Audi Hungária employs more than 3,000 vehicle-assembly workers.  Audi Hungária had revenue of €5.59 bln in 2013, up 5.8% year-on-year.
