Gov't to Call HUF 75 bln Tender to Support Innovation by SMEs

The government will call a new HUF 75 billion tender with co-financing by the European Union to support innovation activities by SMEs, state secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation Balázs Hankó said on Thursday.

This year, HUF 40 bln in funding will be made available, with support between HUF 20 mln and HUF 50 mln per project. 

About one-third of Hungarian SMEs are involved in innovation activities, the goal is to increase this to 50%, the state secretary said.
