IWG Adds 2 New Regus Offices in Hungary

Office Market

International Workplace Group (IWG) is opening two state-of-the-art flexible workspaces in Budapest and Miskolc, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

As the adoption of hybrid working rapidly accelerates across Hungary, the number of inquiries for space in International Workplace locations has risen sharply and this new opening helps meet rising demand, the company emphasizes.

Situated in District XIII of Budapest, the new Regus Madarász location is part of a drive by International Workplace Group to meet the sharply rising demand for top-class flexible working space in the capital. Budapest's inner district is home to the Váci út office corridor, the popular Margaret Island, and this new Regus workspace – extending the Váci út office corridor outside of the crowded central business district. Opening early 2025 in the north of the capital, RegusMadarász will offer co-working spaces, private offices, meeting rooms, and creative spaces.

Regus Miskolc – in the center of one of the country’s biggest cities – will provide the working community of north-east Hungary with a high-quality flexible workspace. The new Regus location will be situated in a multifunctional building comprising of a hotel, restaurant, residential apartments, office space, shopping mall, and entertainment center. With this new addition to the network also opening in early 2025, IWG will operate from almost every major city across Hungary.

The new buildings will provide space for established firms and start-ups across a range of industries, while IWG’s Design Your Own Office service allows companies to tailor their space entirely to their requirements. The new Regus location will include facilities including private offices, meeting rooms, co-working and creative spaces.

Mark Dixon, CEO & founder of International Workplace Group PLC, commented: “We are establishing stronger and much-needed footprints in Budapest and Miskolc with these openings. As important business hubs both Budapest and Miskolc are fantastic places for us to boost our expansion plans. The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal. We are very pleased to work in partnership with Proform Ingatlanbefektetési Zrt. in Budapest - our third partnership agreement with this company - and Nemzetközi Befektetési Holding Kft. in Miskolc to develop the Regus brand under management agreements that will add a cutting-edge workspace to their building.

IWG's multi-brand expansion strategy is designed to appeal to every type of business and entrepreneur. IWG creates personal, financial, and strategic value for businesses of every size, from some of the most exciting companies and well-known organizations on the planet to individuals and the next generation of industry leaders. All of them harness the power of flexible working to increase their productivity, efficiency, agility, and market proximity.
