Poland's manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) was unchanged from May's seven-month low of 45.0 in June, survey data from S&P Global showed on Monday.
The sector contracted for the twenty-sixth successive month, the longest sequence since the survey began in 1998, as demand for Polish manufactured goods continued to weaken.
Although the output declined at a faster rate, this was offset by slower falls in new orders, employment, and input stocks, as well as a less notable improvement in suppliers' delivery times.
On the cost side, both input and output prices continued to decrease, albeit at a softer pace. Finally, business expectations on the 12-month outlook for production remained positive.
Manufacturers were overall slightly less confident than in May, however, and sentiment remained below its long-run trend level (since 2012).
