MNB International Reserves Fall EUR 1.484 bln in June

International reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 46.251 bln at the end of June, down EUR 1.484 bln from a month earlier, preliminary data released by the central bank on Friday show.

The stock of cash, deposits and securities in the reserves rose by EUR 1.118 bln to EUR 33.269 bln, while stock of "other reserve instruments" dropped EUR 2.67 bln to EUR 3.939 bln.

The value of monetary gold in the reserves stood at EUR 6.614 bln and stock of IMF SDRs were at EUR 2.059 bln.

The reserves were EUR 4.846 bln higher than at the end of 2023.
