Parcel service provider GLS on Tuesday announced the acquisition of Hungarian e-commerce fulfillment company iLogistic, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The Hungarian company, which specializes in logistics services for online shops, including pick and pack, inventory management, and returns, was a partner of GLS prior to the acquisition.
"We're enthusiastic about the potential this acquisition will offer for advancing our services and delivering even greater value to our clients," said iLogistic CEO Bálint Csereklyei.
"The acquisition is aligned with GLS's expansion strategy...and represents a key step in deepening its service offering within Hungary," GLS said.
