In addition to investment subsidies, several energy efficiency and R&D resources will be available to domestic companies in 2022, EY said at its online event, according to profitline.hu.

Companies also have the opportunity to accumulate available grants, but this requires careful preparation from the outset of the project and care must be taken to avoid administrative errors.

Hungarian companies plan to invest more than HUF 100 million to expand capacity (40%), replace machines (25%), and develop a production unit or site (20%), according to a survey of 100 decision-makers participating in EY Hungary's online webinar.
