Subsidized Credit Scheme for SMEs to Launch Tuesday

The National Economy Ministry announced the launch, on Tuesday, of a HUF 155.5 billion subsidized credit scheme to support new developments and value-creating investments at microbusinesses and SMEs, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The 0% financing for loans of between HUF 10 mln and HUF 100 mln will be available at the MFB Pont Plusz network of the Hungarian Development Bank (MFB), at designated branches of MBH Bank and Gránit Bank. 

At least 65% of the support will go to businesses in underdeveloped regions, the report notes.

Businesses in Budapest, the most developed area of the country, are excluded from participation in the scheme.
