22,000+ Download Hungarian-developed Language Learning App

More than 22,000 people worldwide have downloaded Talk@Ease, an application that helps people improve their English speaking skills, created by Hungarian developer Digital Language Solutions, according to novekedes.hu.
Half of the people who have downloaded the app are Hungarians and the rest are foreigners.
Digital Language Solutions wants to expand its presence abroad, but that will require more capital, the startup said. Digital Language Solutions, established in 2021, has received HUF 55 million in capital from Hiventures, the VC arm of the Hungarian Development Bank (MFB).
The startup said its AI-based app, which uses a conversational approach to communication involving everyday topics, could be adapted easily to other languages in addition to English.
Digital Language Solutions has already launched a crowdfunding campaign to develop a version of Talk@Ease for German and aims to follow with a Spanish language version.
