MNB International Reserves Climb EUR 523 mln in April

International reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 46.896 bln at the end of April, up EUR 523 mln from a month earlier, data released by the central bank on Wednesday show.

Stock of cash, deposits, and securities in the reserves rose by EUR 1.822 bln to EUR 33.508 bln, while stock of "other reserve instruments" fell EUR 1.672 bln to EUR 4.194 bln.

The value of monetary gold in the reserves stood at EUR 6.56 bln and stock of IMF SDRs reached EUR 2.263 bln.

The reserves were EUR 5.492 bln higher than at the end of 2023.
