Hungary is pressing for European-wide measures to ensure electricity grids can handle the transition to electromobility, State Secretary for Industrial Policy and Technology Gergely Fábián said in a statement issued by the Ministry of National Economy on its website.

Fábián participated in a roundtable talk on electricity grid preparedness for EVs in Brussels at the invitation of the European Commissioner for the Internal Market Thierry Breton.

Before the meeting, Fábián met with European Automobile Manufacturers' Association representatives to discuss the challenges posed by the changeover to EVs.
