A tender for HUF 28 billion in REPowerEU support to develop the EV charging station infrastructure will be called in August, the Ministry of Energy Affairs said in a release on its website after posting the draft of the tender invitation.
Businesses may apply for between HUF 100 million and HUF 6 billion of combined support in the form of credit and grants.
Funding intensity ranges from 35% to 65%, depending on business size.
The charging stations must be completed by the fall of 2027.
Charging stations in the capital are ineligible for the support.
