The state secretary at the Public Administration and Regional Development Ministry highlighted at a conference that Hungary’s reputation as a safe place and its good value for money.
According to MTI, he added that the country should be among the top three conference tourism destinations in the region.
Hungary’s conference tourism sector, with a turnover of around HUF 1 trillion, came to a practical halt during the pandemic, but pulled through and rebounded with government intervention.
