Last year, one in ten respondents decided to choose a domestic hotel for recreation instead of a holiday abroad due to the risks from the pandemic.
According to the survey, 43% of Hungarians are currently planning to stay in a hotel in Hungary after the restrictions related to the coronavirus crisis are lifted. Respondents say they want to relax on a lake shore (48%), explore a new city (44%), sit in a restaurant (38%), use a wellness center (38%), or simply toast with friends (31%) on their first vacation this year.
