In cooperation with BYD, Pappas Auto will operate a new dealership in Budapest, AutoWallis one in Debrecen, JP Auto one in Kecskemét and one in Nyíregyháza and Autocentrum Szabó one in Székesfehérvár.
The dealerships will offer BYD’s entire model range. BYD currently has dealerships in Budapest, Győr, Pécs and Szeged.
BYD is in the process of constructing a manufacturing base in Szeged.
The company also moved its European headquarters to Budapest and has announced two R&D programs with local universities with a value of around EUR 250 million.
