The deadline for submitting information on turnover to the National Tourism Data Service Center (Ntak) was pushed back until January 1, 2024 for businesses with annual revenue of between HUF 12 million and HUF 100 mln in a decree published on Monday.
The decree also exempts such businesses with turnover under the HUF 12 mln threshold from the requirement.
Catering businesses and tourism attractions with yearly turnover over HUF 100 mln will be required to submit data to Ntak from July 1.
All of the businesses, regardless of size, are required to register to use Ntak. So far, more than 25,000 catering businesses and tourism attractions have registered.
Commercial accommodations have been required to submit data to Ntak on a daily basis since 2019.
