Mazars welcomes new tax advisor

Dr. Dániel H. Nagy has joined the tax advisory group of international audit and consulting group Mazars, serving the company as a senior tax manager as of November 15, according to a press release sent today to the Budapest Business Journal.

“We have high expectations as Dániel has decades of professional and leadership experience,” Mazars Partner Sándor Szmicsek said. “His professionalism and commitment further strengthens the domestic prestige of Mazars,” he added. 

After receiving his degree from the University of Szeged in 2002, Nagy joined the National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary (NAV), where he worked until joining Mazars.

Mazars has been active in Hungary since 1991, currently employing 110 professionals in the country where it is the fifth biggest firm on the market, according to the press statement.
