Deloitte adds new partner with sustainability focus

Ákos Lukács joined Deloitte Hungary as a leading consultant with a focus on sustainability and climate protection, filling the position as of June, a press release issued yesterday said.

Lukács, who has more than ten years of experience in the field of climate change and sustainability, worked at the German Emissions Trading Authority - DEHSt; led the Hungarian organization of Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), which operates under the umbrella organization of European Institute of Innovation and technology; and was among the founders of Climate Office Network, according to the press statement.  

In the past four years Lukács has been responsible for managing domestic, EU and international climate policies on a governmental level, the statement noted.

With the recruitment of the professional, Deloitte Hungary expects to further strengthen its sustainability and climate change team.
