Kecskemét hosts largest architectsʼ conference in CEE
The central Hungarian city of Kecskemét is set to host the CEE regionʼs largest conference for architects on April 25-26, with more than 50 experts from ten countries delivering presentations, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
The Idea Conference 2019 will revolve around multiple topics related to ferroconcrete and steel structure planning, including the planning of nuclear power plants and the structure of the Budapest Athletics Stadium.
The conference will run for two days, with a special emphasis on architects of the future, while providing a great business venue for a meet-up of domestic and international construction industry players. The event itself also serves as compulsory engineering training, approved by the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers.
Presentations will feature solutions such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi, built into the sea, with a number of iconic buildings built by the same architecture office such as SkyWalk in Bangkok.
