PMʼs Office to take on new tasks
The Prime Ministerʼs Office will take on new tasks and be expanded in Hungaryʼs new government, Gergely Gulyás, who takes charge of the portfolio from János Lázár, said in an interview with news site mandiner.hu, cited by national news agency MTI.

The PMʼs Office will oversee European Union affairs and maintain ties with European institutions, Gulyás told mandiner.hu.
A department dedicated to Budapest and the greater metropolitan area will also be established, to be overseen by Balázs Fürjes, who earlier served as government commissioner for priority investments in the capital.
Alpár Gyopáros will be in charge of the Modern Cities Program and the soon to be launched Modern Villages Program, Gulyás added.
The PMʼs Office will continue to hold weekly press conferences and Q&A sessions on the governmentʼs activities, a practice started by Lázár, Gulyás noted.
"Informing the press about cabinet meetings will remain a task of the PMʼs Office. With ʼGovernment Info,ʼ János Lázár created something in a class of its own, which is a remarkable thing in politics, and thatʼs why itʼs a practice worth continuing," he added.
