The government control office KEHI has filed a criminal complaint with police over the loan given by the state-owned Hungarian Development Bank (MFB) for the ETO Park stadium investment, state-owned television news channel M1 reported yesterday.

The news channel said KEHI has filed the criminal complaint over suspected misappropriation. The ETO Park stadium, home to Győri Eto Football Club, was recently raided as part of an investigation into brokerage Quaestor on suspicion of fraud. Quaestor used a HUF 17 bln loan from the Hungarian Development Bank (MFB) to build the stadium nearly a decade earlier.
