Hungary joined the board as a founding member on Jan. 22 at the Davos World Economic Forum, as it views the platform as vital for national growth amid global conflicts.

The board, chaired by Trump, with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio leading operations, sent invitations to more than 50 countries, though not all confirmed.

Hungary is the only country from the European Union to join.
