Catering Associations Welcome Stimulus Measures
Three of the biggest catering industry associations in Hungary welcomed stimulus measures announced by National Economy Márton Nagy.
Pál Zoltán Gál, who heads the Hungarian Hospitality Employers’ Association (Vimosz), said a reduction in the tourism development contribution from 4% to 2% would help slow the recent wave of business closures.
He added that raising the threshold for reduced tax on service fees to 20% of turnover would ease the payroll burden for catering establishments.
