Forint slips past 399 to euro, a new low

The forint slipped as far as 399.56 to the euro a little after 10 a.m. on Monday, a new historical low.

The forint weakened from 385.32 to the euro late Friday. 

The forint retreated to 366.70 from 353.50 against the dollar. It dropped to 396.79 from 384.81 to the Swiss franc.
