Hungarian, Azeri ministers hold talks on ICT development opportunities
National Development Minister Zsuzsanna Németh and Azerbaijan's minister for communications and information technology Ali Abbasov discussed bilateral IT and ICT data transmission development opportunities in Baku on Sunday, state secretary Vilmos Vályi-Nagy told MTI after the talks. Vályi-Nagy said the partners agreed to develop close partnership between Hungarian and Azeri companies and at government level in the construction of data centres, internet and phone networks, in space research development and in the area of postal services. He added that the government plans to conclude specific agreements in these areas, and to renew the two countries' ICT memorandum because of technological developments and to expand partnership opportunities in ICT and high technology. Representatives of the air traffic authorities of Hungary and Azerbaijan signed a memorandum of understanding establishing the legal basis for the launch of scheduled flights between the two countries, the National Development Ministry said.
