Trade Surplus at EUR 1.7 bln in November

Hungary's surplus on external trade in goods amounted to EUR 1.7 billion in November 2023, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The value of exports was 3.8% and that of imports was some 25% lower in EUR terms in November 2023 than in the same period of the previous year.

Export value amounted to EUR 12.9 bln, while import value came to EUR 11.2 bln.

The balance of external trade in goods improved by EUR 3.2 bln.

The share of EU member states was 77% in Hungary's exports and 75% in imports.

Compared to October 2023, the exports of goods increased by 1% and the imports of goods were down by 5%.
