MNB Int'l Reserves Rise EUR 658 mln in October
International reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 40.320 bln at the end of October, up EUR 658 mln from a month earlier, news agency MTI reports, citing data published by the central bank on Wednesday.
The stock of cash, deposits, and securities in the reserves fell EUR 159 mln to EUR 27.913 bln, while the stock of "other reserve instruments" climbed EUR 493 mln to EUR 4.065 bln.
The value of monetary gold in the reserves rose from EUR 329 mln to EUR 5.689 bln. There was EUR 2.282 bln of IMF SDRs in the reserves at the end of October.
The reserves were EUR 1.611 bln over their level at the end of 2022.
