MNB Int'l Reserves Rise EUR 350 mln in June

International reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 39.87 bln at the end of June, up EUR 350m from a month earlier, data published by the central bank on Friday show.

 

The stock of cash, deposits, and securities in the reserves edged down EUR 81 million to EUR 27.622 bln, but stock of "other reserve instruments" rose EUR 703 mln to EUR 4.262 bln. There was EUR 5.331 bln of monetary gold in the reserves and EUR 2.284 bln of IMF SDRs.

The international reserves were EUR 1.161 bln over their level at the end of 2022.
