Taking the “Investor of the Month” award on Friday was Takata Safety Systems Hungary, a subsidiary of the Japan-based company which in mid-March began construction on a €68 million airbag plant in Miskolc. At the cornerstone-laying ceremony for the new factory, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán claimed the project represented the biggest greenfield investment in Hungary in two years.
Automobile accessory manufacturer Rati bagged the prize for “SME of the Month”, while organic cosmetics maker Manna Natur Kozmetikum won the “Startup of the Month” award.
