According to the report, Martifer‘s deal with Petrom guarantees a buyer for a third of the expected output from its Romanian refinery in 2007 and half of the output estimated in 2008. Martifer has agreed to supply Petrom with 20,000 tons of the biodiesel in 2007 and 50,000 tons in 2008 from its plant located in Northern Romania, which is expected to come on stream before the H2 of this year. Martifer’s plant is expected to post annual sales of about €70 million when it is fully operational, the newspaper said. (abcmoney.co.uk)
