The event will explore how lessons from professional team sports can strengthen business leadership.
The “Executive Rugby Leadership Experience” will take place at the Novotel Budapest City and Budapest Congress Center, bringing together up to 50 senior executives, CEOs and CFOs for a program focused on discipline, trust, resilience and teamwork.
Organized jointly by the Italian, British and French business organizations, the event will combine leadership sessions, practical activities and networking with representatives of the Treviso-based rugby club.
The Benetton Rugby delegation will include Antonio Pavanello, Fabio Rigoletto, Tommaso Benvenuti, Tommaso Iannone, Marco Lazzaroni and Ezio Galon. Founded in 1932, the club competes in the United Rugby Championship.
Following registration and a networking lunch, participants will attend three sessions examining how to lead from the front, put the team before the individual and communicate clearly under pressure.
An executive challenge will then place participants in mixed teams for simple rugby-inspired activities. No previous rugby experience is required, with the exercises designed to explore leadership and collaboration in practice.
A panel discussion, titled “From the Pitch to the Boardroom,” will connect the day’s activities to business management. A closing group reflection and photo will follow, before an executive networking dinner with the Benetton Rugby delegation.
Participation costs EUR 250 plus VAT. The Budapest Congress Center is the main sponsor, with Flame Spray, Ilinox Hungary Kft. and UniCredit Bank supporting the event.
Companies interested in attending can contact Confindustria Ungheria for further information and registration.
