The Champions Festival, the official fan festival of the Champions League final, will run from May 28-31 at Heroes’ Square, turning one of Budapest’s best-known public spaces into a football-themed venue with all-day programs, concerts, DJ sets, food and fan activities.

Heineken is joining the festival with a Fan Bar and several interactive programs over the four days. Visitors will be able to take part in football-themed games, including a challenge in which fans who successfully win the ball from a freestyle footballer will be invited for a beer.

On May 29, legendary soccer figures will personally serve free beer to visitors between noon and 12:45 p.m.

The main activation will take place on May 30, when Heineken will select five fans from the Champions Festival audience at 1:15 p.m. The winners will be taken directly from Heroes’ Square to Puskás Aréna to watch the Champions League final live.

The initiative is tied to Heineken’s latest campaign, which focuses on football as a way of bringing people together. The company said shared matchday experiences can create connections between strangers, particularly at a time when in-person meetings are increasingly competing with digital interactions.

The Champions League final weekend will also continue after the match, with the official UEFA Champions League and Heineken afterparty to be held at Vajdahunyad Castle. The event will feature CLAPTONE, along with DJs Deaf Jules, Matu and Andrea Lane.

Tickets for the afterparty are still available, according to the announcement.
