The Hungarian Export-Import Bank (Eximbank) and the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus signed a $10 million purchasing-credit agreement in Budapest yesterday. Under terms of the agreement, Eximbank will provide “preferential financing” to Belarusian importers of Hungarian product. According to official statistics, trade between Hungary and Belarus rose 7% to $250 million in 2013.
