Serbia to guarantee EUR 169 mln in Srbijagas loans for gas grid expansion

Serbia's government plans to issue guarantees on loans with a total value of EUR 169 million (USD 207 million) extended to state-owned monopoly Srbijagas for the expansion of the gas distribution network in the country, it said.

The government plans to issue state guarantees on loans of EUR 75 million provided by Banca Intesa, as well as EUR 28 million and EUR 66 million loans extended by OTP Banka, reported SeeNews citing documents posted on the website of Serbia's government.
