MOL Renovates Base Storing Strategic Kerosene Reserves

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL completed a HUF 1.2 billion renovation of its base in Kecskemét where 85pc of the country's kerosene reserves are stored, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Hungary's strategic kerosene reserves amount to 14,000 tonnes, Szabolcs Pal Szabo, managing director of MOL's group-level Downstream Value Chain Managament said. 

As a result of the development, the base now has the capacity to store 12,000 tonnes of aviation kerosene, Zoltán Földházi, the head of the logistic base said.
