The European Commission has approved funding for three major transport projects in Hungary, the National Development Ministry announced yesterday. The three projects are expected to receive more than HUF 87.2 bln in EU funds. About HUF 30 bln will be allocated to a railway communications system and a further HUF 27.7 bln to the expansion of a railway station in one of Budapest’s satellite cities. HUF 29.5 bln will be invested in road reinforcement works in the west of the country.
