Exports grew by 8.4% and reached €7.254 bln. Imports were up 7.9% at €6.757 bln.
Approximately 78% of Hungary’s exports went to other European Union countries in July while 74% of the country’s imports came from the EU.
In the first half of the year, trade surplus came to €3.782 bln, up €253 mln year-on-year. Exports increased by 5.0%, totalling €49.079 bln. Imports grew by 4.8% at €45.297 bln.
KSH is scheduled to publish a second data reading on October 2.
