The volume of both crop and livestock output climbed by 12.3% and 5.3%, respectively, while farm gate prices fell. In absolute terms, farm sector output exceeded HUF 2.3 trillion, and the volume of output was up by 9.2%.
Output of crops climbed by 2.7%, exceeding HUF 1.3 trillion in value terms, while output of live animals and animal products rose by 5.3% to HUF 833.4 bln in value terms. Gross added value in the sector rose 11.2% to HUF 951.6 bln.
