The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Wednesday trade down 0.63% at 15,502.45.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Wednesday’s opening bell:

Oil and gas company MOL was down 1.05% at HUF 14,595;

OTP Bank was down 0.92% at HUF 3,229;

Drug company Richter was down 0.35% at HUF 29,505;

Magyar Telekom was up 0.43% at HUF 470.

On Tuesday, the BUX closed up 4.49% to 15,600.68 on a turnover of HUF 21.67bn.
