University, Corporate Partners Set up Healthcare Industry Center

The University of Debrecen has set up a multidisciplinary healthcare industry center and started conducting research in the framework of a three-year project supported with EUR 3 billion in European Union funding, the school's press center said, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The University of Debrecen partnered with pharmaceutical company Gedeon Richter and cell therapy laboratory company Medyag on the project.
The university plans to launch master's programs in health bioinformatics and pharmaceutical R+D management, and a continuing education program in pharmaceutical industry production technology as a result of the project.
