High-tech Ratio in Hungarian Industry Rising

Innovation

Thanks to re-industrialization, the ratio of high-tech in Hungarian industry is high, stressed Government Commissioner László György on TV news channel M1 this week.

He explained that, according to an IMF report, Hungary competes with Denmark and Germany to be among the first in Europe with its high high-tech ratio within the industry.

Since 2010, employment has increased by 27%, and the number of employed people has risen from around 3.8 million to more than 4.7 million.

The number of people employed in research and development and innovative jobs has doubled.

He added that the European Union's statistical office Eurostat says that, since 2010, the number of people working in R&D&I jobs has increased most in Hungary.
