CX Leader Continues Operations as Foundever With Growth Plans in Hungary

Innovation

One of the largest global providers of customer experience (CX) products and solutions - previously known as Sykes in Hungary - has announced its official transition to Foundever.

The global firm will also continue its operation under the new brand name in Hungary, where Foundever intends to further increase its current workforce of 300 employees.

"The CX industry has changed drastically since we founded this company 30 years ago," says Laurent Uberti, President, cEO & co-founder, Foundever. "What was once manual and local is now digital first and global."

"Yet, CX remains rooted in human-to-human interactions. For over three decades, we have sought to innovate and adapt with the times while maintaining a strong human-centric element to our solutions. I'm proud to say that we have successfully grown from a small startup to a global company that delivers over 9 million customer conversations and insights each day to help our clients navigate their digital transformation journey. Launching Foundever is a chance to bring us back to our entrepreneurial roots and simplify CX for the brands we support," he adds.

Foundever has had a presence in the Hungarian market since 1999, when the company first started its operation as Sykes. In 2021, Sitel Group acquired Sykes, and the group solidified its place as one of the top three CX providers in the world. Following the rebranding the company now operates as Foundever both globally and locally. In Hungary, the company employs over 300 professionals working with more than 25 languages for clients mostly from the technology, consumer Electronics, retail, and healthcare industries.

The main services provided by the Hungarian office include customer service, technical support, helpdesk, social media management, escalation handling as well as back-office processing and shared/value add B2B services.

"Its excellent location in Europe, the highly skilled workforce, and the maturity of its shared service market make Hungary highly valuable for Foundever. Our experienced local team enables us to continue our successful operation in the country and provide more complex services and solutions to our clients. We see further growth opportunity in Hungary, therefore we not only keep our workforce but we intend to further increase the number of employees in our Budapest office" said Gábor Kovács, country manager in Hungary, Foundever.

The newly rebranded company says that it continues to offer the same high-quality CX solutions that Sitel Group and Sykes are known for, evolving to integrate new solutions and technology, analysis, and bespoke CX solutions designed to meet the needs of today's brands.

Foundever offers a range of services including customer care; business optimization; sales and retention; as well as strategy and design; omnichannel CX; workflow orchestration; self-service and bots; analytics and AI; social media CX; Web3; and learning and development.
