The company is the first in the region to focus on conscious heritage planning, offering families the ability to pass on not only material assets but also intellectual and personal legacies. Founders say heritage planning is relevant at any age as it represents both self-care and care for loved ones. The service can preserve everything from a 150-year-old handwritten letter to cryptocurrency accounts.
The prize was awarded by a jury of industry leaders, including Zoltán Ács, president of the Hungarian Fintech Association; Bálint Kelemen, deputy CEO of IT and operations at Raiffeisen Bank; András Keller, head of product development at Mastercard; and Márton Attila Boda, AI innovation expert at K&H Bank.
Founded in 2024 by Henriette Tompa and József Horváth, the startup’s mission is to enable people to transfer as much value as possible to heirs while managing their legacy consciously and transparently in a structured framework. The platform also allows users to record important wishes in one place, from funeral arrangements to pet care.
Beyond private clients, B120 LifeTresor has developed several partnerships in the business sector in recent months. It now appears on the discount lists of several Hungarian banks and has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Legitimo Legal Protection Insurance.
Henriette Tompa said the award provides an opportunity to break down taboos around wills and inheritance processes and spark wider discussion on the topic.
“On social channels you can see how many family conflicts and misunderstandings arise because important information gets lost and heirs cannot compile a detailed list of the estate. Our web application provides proper support for this crucial gap. The explosive growth of investment products, the increase of digital footprints and digital legacies, and the misconceptions surrounding probate procedures all point to the need for technological support that both adapts to the changes of modern life and ensures security in the online space,” she said.
This was not the first recognition for the heritage-planning startup. In June, B120 LifeTresor placed second at The Magic of Innovation Day – #MOI2025, Central Europe’s leading insurance and banking innovation event.
