The Womenture project is looking to empower innovation agencies and accelerators to encourage partnerships to boost female entrepreneurship while broadening the ecosystem at the same time. The consortium consists of Czech, German, Estonian, and Hungarian partners.

The main goals of the program are to enhance connections between initiatives, networks, startups, and innovation actors, to encourage female entrepreneurship and improve general entrepreneurial mindset and skills as well as to empower ecosystem builders (incubators & accelerators), transfer their skills, expertise and knowledge onto program participants.

Using a pre-acceleration program and connecting the ecosystem, the project empowers incubators & accelerators to share their experience and implement female-specific elements into their programs, thus encouraging female entrepreneurship.

The program's launch date is January 30, 2024.

The Womenture program offers:
Networking – The program enables participants to establish a strong connection with initiatives, startups, and innovation actors.
Business support – Womenture provides a business support system that inspires others to build new ones.
Knowledge sharing – The strength lies within the community! The program encourages incubators and accelerators to grow together.

Application is open until November 30, 2023.

SUPPORT THE BUDAPEST BUSINESS JOURNAL

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
