Homebuyer preferences expanding

Residential

Even if slowly, the preferences that influence the decisions of buyers of new or branded homes when choosing their next house are expanding, according to the latest national research from the real estate developer Metrodom in February 2022, writes profitline.hu.

The majority of respondents (61%) participating in Metrodom's study want to spend between HUF 30 million-50 mln on a new apartment in a residential park.

However, the survey revealed that the number of those who can afford HUF 70 mln is negligible.

Accordingly, more than three-quarters of respondents (78%) strongly believe that sustainability is a distinct value-adding factor for new homes, and therefore nearly half of respondents (49%) said they would be willing to pay more if they "could move to a home that meets the criteria of a 'green home'."
