Home Sales Set to Reach 8-year Low
Listed real estate broker Duna House estimates home sales in Hungary will reach 125,000-127,000 for the full year, the lowest number in eight years, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
In a monthly estimate of transactions published Thursday, Duna House said over 118,000 homes changed hands in January-November.
Lenders signed contracts for HUF 60 billion of mortgage loans in the month of November, down 46% from the same month a year earlier, the broker added.
