Duna House Franchise Commissions Revenue Falls 10% in Q3

Commissions revenue of listed real estate broker Duna House's franchise network fell 10% year-on-year to HUF 3.2 billion in the third quarter, the company said in a preliminary report, according to state news wire MTI.

Commissions volume dropped 9% to HUF 2.2 billion in Hungary as interest rates climbed and people took longer-than-usual summer vacations, Duna House said.

In Poland, commission volume declined 22% to HUF 0.8 billion. 

The commission revenue of Duna House's recently acquired Realizza brand in Italy was a little over HUF 0.1 bln.

Commissions revenue of Duna House's own offices slipped 18% to HUF 0.4 bln.

Brokered loan volume of the group jumped 52% to HUF 190 bln, boosted by the Realizza acquisition. Brokered loan volume reached HUF 121 bln in Italy, HUF 46 bln in Poland, and HUF 23 bln in Hungary.
