Colossyan Signs Lease: Academia Offices Exceed 80% Occupancy

Office Market

Colossyan, one of Hungary's fastest-growing and internationally recognized startups, signed a lease agreement for 1,000 sqm offices at Academia Offices in Budapest at the end of May, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

Just six months after its official opening, ACADEMIA has exceeded 80% occupancy, reflecting the increasing demand for centrally located, future-proof office space.

Academia welcomes Colossyan, its second high-tech tenant this year, following the earlier lease agreement with another emerging local startup, Shapr3D.

The building’s WiredScore certification ensures compliance with the strictest technological standards. WiredScore is an internationally recognized system that evaluates and certifies the quality of a building’s digital infrastructure, signaling the building's readiness for future digital demands.

Colossyan develops an AI-based video generation platform and recently secured $22 million in Series A funding to enhance and expand its technology. The company's founder and CEO, 26-year-old Dominik Kovács, was named on Forbes Europe’s 30 Under 30 list, recognizing the startup's outstanding achievements in the tech sector. Colossyan's revenue grew by 600% in 2023, with notable clients including Porsche, Vodafone, and P&G.

“Choosing Academia Offices was no accident. We follow an office-first policy, making the quality and location of our office space crucial to provide the best environment for our employees,” said Dominik Kovács, CEO of Colossyan. He added that Academia Offices is an inspiring community space fostering innovation and collaboration.

Kinga Halász, leasing manager of Academia Offices, commented: “This partnership began more than three years ago when we helped Colossyan find its first office in downtown Budapest. Since then, we have followed their impressive growth. Academia values partnerships with tenants who are not just successful in business but also contribute to the building’s community development and technological innovation.”

Academia offers over 12,500 sqm of modern office space, is designed to meet the highest standards, and aims to receive several prestigious certifications, including Well Gold and Platinum, Breeam In-Use Excellent and already obtained WiredScore Gold, and Access4You.
