Vocational Training Councils Undergoing Renewal

A system of sectoral councils established to better coordinate vocational training with market needs will undergo a renewal that extends their scope to higher education, Balázs Hankó said yesterday in one of his last acts as a state secretary, according to hrportal.hu.
Hankó, who has now taken over as the culture and innovation minister, said the measure aimed to help institutions of vocational training and higher education better meet labor market demands.
He presented the heads of the 19 councils, representing branches of the economy such as the ICT, food and construction sectors, with certificates.
