Her main areas of expertise include litigation, competition law, intellectual property law and tax law.
She has acted as legal representative in several litigation cases involving complex issues of EU law and constitutional law. Some of the decisions in these cases have influenced Hungarian legal practice and legislation.
In one case, following an initiative developed by the firm’s tax litigation team, a motion drafted by Detvay led the Constitutional Court to annul a provision of the Act on the Rules of Taxation, according to the firm.
Detvay also has experience in competition law damages cases and has acted before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
In addition to litigation work, she advises corporate clients on daily operations, mainly on competition law and intellectual property law issues.
